I have an art background and would like to make my own frames for my oils. I''m also thinking about getting in the business. I have an okay mitre saw but I know it might not make perfect cuts on some mouldings. I was thinking about getting a good mitre sander to correct the cuts instead of buying new saw. Is that a reasonable way to approach it or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new saw along with a mitre sander? Thanks.

If you had posted this under the Framing section you would have more responses. Get a good saw--the one you have may be okay but needs a better blade and perfect alignment.
Miter sanders are very helpful.
Vol 1 of the LIbrary of Professional Picture Framing is very helpful.
