Greeting Artists, This is Jerry Stith founder of Ball Point Pen Art here on the Internet. Ball Point Pen Art is a New Art Medium, American Folk Art and World Class Art Movement worldwide, which is based out of the United States of America. We are another form of the Pen & Ink Art Movement that has been around a long time.
I’m self-taught and born in the United States of America, therefore it’s an American Folk Art. I’m introducing the Half Tone line made with an oil-based, which is the most detailed camera-ready line in art history. I’m also introducing multi-colored oil-based ink to the rest of the art world. We will be organizing this New Art Medium from here and also being exporting our art program around the world from this location.
Ball Point Pen Art is also a New Art Medium worldwide. The Biro brothers invented the BallPoint Pen in 1938 in 1938 out of Argentina. The BallPoint Pen is the only pen system that uses oil-based ink. We are the first and only owners of ballpointpenart.com & ballpointpenart.net, which are our domain names worldwide.
Ball Point Pen Art is also a New World Class Art Movement. All art and artists from 1938 through today using this as their Art Medium are part of this art movement. There are more people using the BallPoint Pen today than any other art medium. A most common instrument and used worldwide hundreds of millions of artists. Most likely you own a BallPoint Pen yourself and use it most of the time as well.
We are located at http://communities.msn.com/ballpointpenart/ that is our inter-active community with about 172 pages and 900 art related links. We are producing art works never seen before in art history. Being founder of a New Art Medium places me in art history as such. I’m therefore an emerging International artist and what we do is making art history daily.
We have been around the Web for two years now and represent something new and exciting in the world of art. If you are already doing art with your BallPoint Pen or interested in doing so please stop in and become part of our program and art history.

Pen & Ink/ Ball Point Pen Art
Greetings Art World, I’m Jerry Stith of Ball Point Pen Art here on the Web. Ballpoint pens are part of the Pen & Ink medium or art movement. Our ballpoint pen is the only oil-based ink system on the market. Today billions of ballpoint pens are sold annually or more than any other pen in history.
The ballpoint pen is the most manufactured pen in man’s history. There are billions of people using them worldwide for writing and drawing. Their more sturdy than any other pen, have a great ink supply and oil-based ink. The ballpoint pen is the best instrument for the carbon copy which changed the world.
Having a sturdy pen, ink supply, oil-based ink, extra fine tip, colored inks and used for writing popularized it’s purchase. Our pen lines are camera-ready and produce a half tone. All other pen systems use water based inks and can’t develop a half tone line. That half tone and colored inks advanced and change the Pen & Ink art world forever.
Filling in backgrounds or large spaces take massive lines even with a bold tip. The extra fine tip produces the half tone or sharpest camera-ready line in art history. The oil-base delivery system works and releases less ink on target. Having a half tone line and colored inks really makes my job much more fun. Let the inks flow!
Pen & Ink Development
Pen & Ink drawings or what part they played in man’s history we look at. In the old days the Pen & Ink artists were the major recorders of history. The solid black line was quick, easy and later used in production art or art production. Early artists used inks before most all other art mediums. During that time period artists represented people that recorded images and production.
Today commercial artists bring in more money than the oil industry. There came along an Industrial Revolution worldwide and new inventions cut into the artist’s importance. The ballpoint pen, printing press, photo silk screen, copier, fax, camera, phone, cb’s, radio, T.V., video, computer and the telegraph changed communications and image recording.
Things have never been the same since. Pen & Ink was made up of quills and nibs mostly. Bamboo, inkbottles, brushes and washes made lots of options. Today there’s a felt tip, roller, liner, rapidograph, maker, gel and ballpoint pens other than the nib or quill. Together they make up the Pen & Ink art world. Bringing all those pen systems together is a great goal and advancement in the graphic department.
The ballpoint out sold all other pens and plays an important role in today’s graphic art world. The art works completed from 1938 throughout today makes up a national or international art treasure. Detailed ballpoint pen drawings take many lines as do all pen & ink works.
People should price detailed drawing by the square inch and look at commercial art pricing. Standardizing prices and artists would only make things sturdier and expand our position in the art world.
http://www.gag.org/ Graphic Artists Guild’s site has their Handbook for artists. Pricing, contracts, solutions, laws, copy rights and artist protections are covered. The best handbook on the market.
Thank You, Jerry & Linda Stith http://groups.msn.com/ballpointpenartnet/ |
