  I am being provided with a piece of large embroidered Chinese silk for framing.No matter how hard I stretched,the silk still shows wrinkles allover.I do not know if I should iron it to get rid of the wrinkles.Can someone please help ?!

  You are not going to be able to get rid of all of the wrinkles no matter what you do. You mount these things by stitching in a grid pattern all over in about 1"-1 1/2" squares to give it over all support. Hide the stitches well. It won't be an easy job, but can be done. I have. As you stitch, pull gently, and stretch a little as you go. This will get most of the wrinkles out. Don't even think about ironing it. This will just make matters worse. Hope this helps.
