	I have masterful, unsigned watercolor (gouache) portrait of Civil War Captain and California painer William A. Winder. On the back of the painting is the name "Mrs. Jaynes." I have come to believe that Elizabeth Jaynes Putnam Borglum may have some connection to the painting. Any thoughts?

	I am doing research on Elizabeth Janes Putnam Borglum - she spelled her maiden Janes, rather than Jaynes (as I have seen it many places. She wouldn''t have been "Mrs Jaynes" as that was her mainden name.) - at least as far as I can tell!
