  Hello:

I purchased a gorgeous vintage horse print in 2006. I had the frame appraised and I''ve been told it is a Louis XV Revival style. It was purchased from an old Victorian home in Buffalo, NY and hung in the homes library. As such, the gold leaf or gilding is sooty with some streaking. Is there any way for me to safely clean this?

Thank you so much.
