	I have two small oils inherited from my mother in 2002; she had inherited same from her aunt in 1976, Paintings acquired circa 1900-1940, in Boston. Paintings are landscapes: 1. Two houses in winter, including small fence and hydrant. 2. Trees in autumn with small pond. Both are signed ''Cole.'' On back of each: "This is a Genuine Oil Painting painted entirely by hand on canvas." "The artists name is Robert Cole." "Art Associates - New York City." I''m wondering if this is Robert B. Cole? - who had painting entitled "Farm in the Bronx" sold in NYC art auction house lot in December, 2006. Any info would be of assistance. email: jbeaudill@sbcglobal.net
