We have a very old Italian tile lunette to frame. The original frame(missing) had been Flemish. The tile is valuable and has to have a frame both strong for protection and fitting for its (1800) historical art value.
The bottom side is straight and the top is an exact semi-circle 180 degree edge. dimensions: 20"W-13"H-1 1/2" thick.
Without going into great detail, could we get some basic advice for this project?
Thank you, TB, San Diego, CA |

Raphael''s in Sweetwater Springs California supplies liners and fabrics. They also cut oval shapes into their liner stock...custom sizes etc. That piece in turn can be painted or covered with fabric, it will have a rabit, with or without glazing. Contact them and they will help you with your design. |
