I am trying to establish a current value for a book I purchased in May of 1967. It is a first printing with
a price on the front inside flap of $55.00 " prior to December 31, 1968 and $75.00 after that date.
The Title is simply " Andrew Weyth " - author is
Richard Meryman - copyright 1968 by The Mill Inc.
Library of Congress # 67-18254. I had heard years ago that there was a fire and plates were destroyed and book was never reprinted but do not know if this is credible info.
Book itself is in mint condition but dust jacket is slightly torn on bottom. The last time I saw another book was in a gallery in Winter Park FL about 20 years ago but it was not for sale. Any info for appraisal would be would be greatly appreciated.

I purchased the same book used about 10 years ago. I am collector of old wyeth books and had heard it was one to have.
I did some on ebay a few years ago. About $300.

I purchased the same book many years ago, only this was the second printing. The plates were destroyed by Wyeth himself. I paid $150.00 and that was on sale for 50% off. ($300.00) After I purchesed this book a book seller in NYC told me that he had just sold a copt for $1,500.00. And that was in 1975. I have been trying to fine out what it's worth today. No luck so far.
