	I need help, I have a oil painting in my home, A young girl with flowers, on the bottom right says Renoir-how do I know if it is original-(approx 8x10)it was given to us by my husbands grandmother in S. America yrs ago and have inquired by email to dealers but no one is responsive

	i too have a painting showing renoirs signature on the bottom right.. a woman sitting bare back with her hair up on a red chase type chair. how do u go about posting a picture to see if it is real? mine painting on on very old canvas.. pleasee help. thank u.

	I love Renoir. I am not qualified to say if it is authentic but I would be curious to see it. Any way to photo and post it online? How does the signature compare to Renoir reproductions? I saw an exhibit in Italy recently with many Renoir originals. It is not uncommon for artists to copy the masters, but it should have been labeled "after Renoir" not just Renoir. Is the canvas aged looking? How bout the frame. Good luck.
