Would really like some suggestions on mounting jewelry in object/shadowbox, i.e. rings bracelets.

A non-invasive, non-adhesive, completely reversible attachment is best. Using needle and thread works well for some items. For other, clear film straps made of Mylar-D or Melinex 516 could be less visually conspicuous and provide better support. For heavy items requiring support at specific points, formed-rod mounts made of piano wire (spring-steel) covered by shrink tubing might be better.

"The Complete Guide to Shadowboxes and Framing Objects" is a book describing these and other methods, and it is available from the PFM Bookstore (blue area on the left side of this screen).

Sew it down to an archival mat board. By sewing it rather than using an industrial adhesive, your jewelry stays preserved and removable.
