Wrapping up the Museum Glass Feeds America promotion, Tru Vue has donated $20,100 to Feeding America (www.feedingamerica.org), the nation's largest hunger relief charity. As a result of Tru Vue's donation, 140,700 meals will be provided to families and individuals in need.
The program, which was detailed in the October 2009 issue of PFM, was set up to provide a Tru Vue contribution each time a frame shop offered Museum Glass to its customers through the the company’s Scratch, Give and Win promotion. The use of scratch-off cards in the promotion offered frame shop customers a chance to win one of 175 certificates that were good for $150 discounts towards future purchases in the participating frame shops.

Larson-Juhl Contributes Trees to National Forest
In 2007 the Butler II and Slide fires devastated 27,00 acres within the San Bernardino National Forest in Southern California. In 2009 Larson Juhl contributed 7,400 trees to the reforestation project.
The fires destroyed the seed source in the area, preventing nature tree growth. The goal of the reforestation project is to plant enough seedlings throughout burn to reestablish vegetation before the site is overrun with brush. The large-scale planting will take place in an area with federally listed endemic species that cannot be found anywhere else.
The San Bernardino reforestation project was one of four projects supported by Larson-Juhl's Global ReLeaf Initiative in 2009. Since 1991 more than 350,000 trees have been planted on behalf of Larson-Juhl through a number of donation projects.
