The Fletcher-Terry Company of East Berlin, CT, an industry-leading manufacturer of industrial machinery, tools, equipment, and consumable supplies, has agreed to acquire ITW AMP and Alfamacchine, Srl. AMP has operations in Vernon Hills, IL, and Pontotoc, MS. Alfamacchine is located in Forli, Italy. Both will become wholly owned subsidiaries of Fletcher-Terry.
Fletcher-Terry intends to operate the two businesses independently and will continue operations at all existing AMP and Alfamacchine facilities. Fletcher will continue ITW’s tradition of offering innovative products and outstanding service to trade accounts and multi-site retailers.

LifeSaver Launches Metric Software in Australia and the U.K.
LifeSaver Software is introducing a new metric version of LifeSaver Software Point-of-Sale and FrameVue programs. Eric Crowe recently traveled to Australia for the LifeSaver launch. A highly successful tour recently allowed LifeSaver to train framers in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Crowe is then moving to England to travel the country training and helping frame shops adopt LifeSaver Point-of-Sale and FrameVue visualization software.
